The Nexus Education Blogs Awards 2019 takes place at Stoke-on-Tern Primary School on February 22nd 2019 and aims to recognise the contribution of educational bloggers from across the UK.

We are excited to announce that Sue Atkins will be talking at the Nexus Education Blog Awards 2019! Sue will talking about her journey from class teacher to deputy headteacher to business owner now appearing on This Morning, Sky News, Talk Radio and more!
Sue is the Parenting Expert on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ programme, offering practical guidance for bringing up happy, confident, resilient children from toddler to teen. She also regularly appears on BBC Radio, Sky News & talkRADIO doing a parenting round up on Eamonn Holmes ‘Drive Time Show.’
As well as all this Sue is also the author of the Amazon best seller ‘Parenting Made Easy – How To Raise Happy Children’ as well as ‘Raising Happy Children for Dummies’ – one in the famous black & yellow series!

We are very excited to announce the fantastic Jade Parkinson-Hill as a guest speaker for the Nexus Education Blog Awards.
Jade’s career to date has spanned both the tech and education world. In the last ten years she has worked in the UK education sector teaching, launching new schools and delivering entrepreneurship projects to students and communities across the North West of England. In 2015, Jade was named one of the ‘top 100 women in games’ in recognition of her role in establishing the UK’s first ‘geek’ school in Liverpool.
Jade has been interviewed on TV, radio and the press, including the BBC, Radio 4 and The Times Education Supplement talking about her passions of tech and entrepreneurship, in particular, motivating and supporting young entrepreneurs.

Come and be inspired by the incomparable Renaldo Lawrence as he talks to us about his journey from ex-NBA basketball player to a life time in teaching.
Renaldo is an e-learning developer and educator recognised by Adobe, Apple, TechSmith and Microsoft.
Renaldo develops and deploys interactive learning resources for staff, faculty, and students as an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Advanced Skills teacher. He also consults and trains across the United States and Europe on how to create and use digital media, web design, and elearning applications in the classroom. Renaldo is an Adobe Education Leader, Apple Distinguished Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator and Educator Trainer, and an Advanced Skills teacher.
