Outdoor Essentials: Knots

With many of us using Lockdown to venture outdoors, it is amazing how many of us don’t know the basic skills used during outdoor activities.
In this video, Rhodri showcases a simple but effective knot technique that kids (and adults) of all ages can do!

Sometimes using the knot for certain things, especially if it is tied wrongly or used in the wrong way, can be dangerous. For example: Outdoor sports such as climbing, using it to move heavy items etc. Small things, such as even the knot been tied but untidily, can have an adverse effect on the performance of the knot in dangerous situations.
