Statement Regarding Spring Term Events

STATEMENT REGARDING SPRING TERM EVENTS

UPDATE – MARCH 17th 2020

In light of the new government guidance, and having liaised with our school groups, we are delighted to announce that 9 out of the 12 events planned will be going ahead this term, albeit digitally. The remaining three events have all been moved over to the Autumn term with the schools and suppliers happy with this decision.

We’d like to thank our school and supplier community for their commitment to continuing the great work we are all doing.

The safety of our staff, schools and clients is of utmost importance to Nexus Education and we appreciate their support during this unusual period.

Over the last few weeks there has been lots of information about the potential impact of Coronavirus / Covid-19. Understandably, we have had a number of enquiries about whether the Nexus Education events will be taking place in light of this.

We would like to confirm that all events currently booked WILL be going ahead as planned with our school community very much leading the way on this decision and keen to go about ‘business as usual’.

Fortunately, the outbreak of Coronavirus has had little impact on the attendee numbers this month and we anticipate this to be the case moving forward unless advised otherwise.

We recommend that you follow Government guidance – and a link is attached here  https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public. If you think that you may be at risk, then, in line with all current guidelines, please take care of yourself and do not attend the event.

We look forward to meeting our community at upcoming sessions.
